Perform card action

POST

/card/v1/cards/{id}/actions

Performs a state-changing action on an existing card. The type field in the request body selects the action:

  • STATUS_CHANGE: freezes, unfreezes, or cancels the card. Supported transitions are ACTIVE → FROZEN (temporarily freeze the card), FROZEN → ACTIVE (unfreeze a frozen card), and CANCELLED (permanently cancel the card). Cancellation is irreversible: once cancelled, the card cannot be reactivated. New authorizations are declined, but transactions authorized before cancellation settle normally.
  • LIMIT_ADJUSTMENT: replaces the card's spend limit. The new limit takes effect immediately and doesn't change the wallet balance. The card's available limit (limit.available), which is the amount left to spend in the current limit period, is recalculated against the new limit. If the limit type changes, for example from DAILY to MONTHLY, the available limit is calculated for the new period. If the new limit is lower than the amount already spent in the current period, the available limit is zero until the next reset.
  • RENEWAL: issues a replacement card from a CANCELLED or EXPIRED card's configuration. The new card starts in CREATED state with the same wallet, asset code, and customer as the original. Renewal is processed asynchronously and returns 202 Accepted.
